Do you know Café Hakoniwa? It’s a wonderful place to eat, talk, and
relax. We will introduce the café.
How to get Café Hakoniwa?
If you want to go to Café Hakoniwa, the best way is to take a car
or taxi because the bus does not go though. So almost all tourists rent a car.
From Route 58 turn left on 84 at Super Hotel. Go about 15 minutes. After you go you can
find Izumi Pineapple Park and there is a small guideboard. We thought Café Hakoniwa
was not easy to find because it is located in the plentiful nature area.

The building is made of wood, and it was built about 50 years ago. The café is in Yanbaru, so it is surrounded by green. In the café, the floor and pillars are dark brown, so there is a relaxed atmosphere. The chairs and sofa are low, so it is easy to sit. We can eat and talk, and break there comfortably.

Menu
At lunch, you can choose from three types of menus. Any menus includes your choice of ice tea or hot tea, ice coffee or hot coffee.
🌸 Today’s Hakoniwa plate: 900 yen
This menu is a special of the day.
According to the seasons, this lunch mainly uses local ingredients
of Yanbaru Okinawa. Suimono soup has a subtle flavor which is very nice for our health.
🌸Shimayasai
and plenty of chicken curry: 900 yen
(local
vegetables)
This menu is
healthy curry rice with yogurt. The cafe staff takes two hours to stir-fry the
onion. That is the reason of the good curry taste.
This menu is a new lunch menu since June 5, 2016. Thick toast with rich honey has a sweet and happy taste.
Also, you can
enjoy many desserts and drinks at café time. They have a lot of drinks and homemade cakes.
