     If you like running, playing rugby, soccer, baseball, sumo, tennis, BBQ, or you are cataholic, you should go to 21st century Park.

     21st century park is the park that is a part of a Nago citizen’s daily life. You may feel calm like when you are in your home. And also, you don’t have to bring anything like special equipment; just go with your hands empty! If you don’t like activities or any sports, let’s go to the 21st century beach and look at an Okinawan beach!
    The other day, we went there to research what people were doing in the park. First, we found a person running down the road in the park. Second, we found an athletic space, and third, there were elderly people who were enjoying gate ball, and young people practicing rugby. Everyone seemed to be enjoying what they wanted to do. Also there were some cats resting on the grass or the concrete where sunlight shined, or playing with their mates. You can rent some places which you like per hour or hours paying some money. According to the Nago City hall’s website, for example, BBQ space can be rented at a charge of 2,160 yen from 9am until 9pm.

   Once we got out to the seashore, we could see the creamed white beach and emerald green clear water, the horizon between a cerulean blue sky and the cobalt blue offshore. It is so interesting to collect shells or watch some drifted things, of course. We think it is most romantic to gaze at the sunset while sitting on the beach with your girlfriend or boyfriend sitting next to you, perhaps. Walking along the beach and heading for the Nago fishing port, if it is good weather, not rainy or cloudy, you may see a lot of cats leaning on the concrete to bask in the sun.

   There is no café or shops in the park. However, it is the best place to share the precious memories with your friends, a sanctuary for cataholics, and a special source of your daily life.
