The
ruins were certified as a World Heritage Site. Amazingly you can enter there
by paying just 400 yen. We look so happy lol. |
Cultural Center
You
can learn about the history and culture of Nakijin. Also, you can see some
artifacts unearthed at the ruins. It may interest you.
Souvenir Shop
There
are some souvenirs. Particularly you can drink the sugar cane juice (Satokibi)! Its
amazing taste may interest you. Of course, you can eat lunch there.
Festival
“Nakijin-gusuku-festival”
is an annual event held in Nakijin-jo. This
festival is held in Spring, so you can enjoy it at a World Heritage Site blooming
with a lot of cherry blossoms. During this festival, the structures and cherry
blossoms are illuminated so the atmosphere makes you feel romantic. Why don’t you visit
there with your partner at night? In addition, you can see traditional local
performances held on a special stage.

We went to Nakijni-jo by car. It took 30 minutes from Meio University. There are some signs on the way, so you can arrive at Nakijin-jo easily.
