What is “Warumi”?💬

Have you ever heard of “Warumi”? Can you guess what it is? “Warumi” is an unexplored spot. It is admired as “a beach of the gods,” because a god went down there. So, people don’t regard it as a sightseeing spot. A connoisseur would know that it is a power spot. The local people call it “Wari-bannta.” “Warumi” means a crevice, “bannta” means a cliff. In other words, “Wari-bannta” means “a crevice in a cliff.”💁

When you go to Warumi, you can see the beautiful sea from the 15-meter high cliff. But when you go there at high tide, you can’t see the wonderful view. So, if you want to see the fantastic view, we recommend you going there at low tide. Also, Warumi is an important place since there is a spot where sea turtles lay eggs.🐢🐢 

Moreover, Warumi is a place where few people are able to get to. Why? The reason why is it is difficult to understand the way to Warumi. Especially, finding the entrance of Warumi is hard! Well, can you arrive at Warumi, and see the beautiful view?😙

       

How to get to Warumi    🏃💨🏃💨🏃💨🏃💨🏃💨🏃💨

Warumi is located in Motobu which also has the Churaumi Aquarium, Bise-fukugi Tree Road, many cafeterias, beautiful seas, mountains, food, and nature. To go to the beautiful place, there are several ways to arrive at the entrance of Warumi.

 First, if you want to use your car, you have to pay close attention to the hidden ways by checking your map.

 However, the point you must know is the parking area. Certainly, there is a small parking area for free very near Warumi.  But it is difficult to park if your car is really huge because about only 6 cars can be parked.

 Second, you can come there by foot from your hotel, restaurant and guest house while enjoying the Okinawa beautiful views.

Third, if you have confidence in your legs, you can also go there by bicycle. There are people who choose to cycle around the town. After you arrive there, you can see the small forest and tiny road like an animal trail.

✅Caution✅

You had better go Warumi on a sunny day so you can see the beautiful sea. Also, you should go there when there are less people because there are few parking areas. The road to Warumi is very narrow and hard to find. The path to Warumi beach is bumpy, so you should take sneakers, not heels. The beach has pieces of coral, so you can’t walk barefoot. We recommend you going there at low tide so you can walk on the beach.

Unfortunately, the weather when we went was heavy rain.☔☔☔

As you see in this picture, the road to the beach was flooded. It was like a river. Our feet were under water. The waves were so strong. If you want to visit there, you should go on a sunny day.⛅⛅⛅

Actually, Chihiro went to Warumi on a sunny day before!! Surprisingly these pictures are at the same place in Warumi. When you go there on a sunny day, you could have fun with the great spectacle of the ocean. Also, this is the sunset in Warumi. A couple succeeded to propose.👪💕
